code31 @ Maker Fair
wednesday september 20, 2006
hotel "le plaza", brussels
In conjunction with the O'Reilly's EuroOSCON Open Source Convention, Make magazine is organising Maker Faire, a premier event that brings the do-it-yourself mindset to the technology in your life. The event is a celebration of your right to tweak, hack, bend, and remix any technology to your own will. It's a chance to see the work of expert makers and join in and get your hands dirty. This event is free and open to anyone possessing the Maker spirit. All Makers are welcome! The hours are 19.30 to 21.30, and the location is the Hotel Le Plaza, Brussels, Belgium.
What really makes a Maker Faire work is the grassroots participation from Makers such as you. If you have an interesting MAKE-like project that you are bursting to share with your fellow Makers, we are actively seeking Makers who would like to exhibit at the Faire. Each exhibiting Maker will be provided with a table, power, Internet connection, and a simple poster board describing their project. Interested in sharing a project? Please write to euromaker [at] makezine [dot] com and tell us about yourself and your project.
Code31 will be participating in this event, giving response to the call made by Makezine. If you feel like participating with the code31 crew, drop us a mail at ef4db [at] code31.lahaag [dot] org.
